Hi Everyone! Welcome to the Nani ke Ola blog. We have had so much fun teaming up with Paper Wings Productions these past few weeks!
I am super excited to see what everyone made with these delicious papers and absolutely great stamps. I chose the Big Textures stamp from PWP. This stamp has so many possibilities! Over the past couple weeks I have used this stamp on a variety of projects, my cards and my art journal along with my scrapbook page. I am pretty positive you will be seeing this stamp again in future projects too.
I paired this project with the Cold Country line by 7 Dots Studio. The photo I used is a lake located in a small little town at the base of Mt Rainier in Washington. Mineral Lake. My grandfather grew up here and when he passed our family went up there for a day in memory of him. The cold country line seemed perfect for this photo with the word stickers and photos of generations past.
I added some color using the Lindys Mermaid Starbursts and some embossing powder from the Industrial Chic Collection.
I used the diamond pattern in the “Forgotten” paper and matted it against a darker paper. I had fun again with the textures circles to get a pop of color on the page
So, feel free to stop by the store, BOTH of them! As a bonus- this weekend in the Nani ke Ola store, everything is 20% off – no coupon code needed!
