Always and Forever…..
welcome back to nani ke ola—where life is beautiful. 🙂
we are always so happy to have you over so we can share with you our projects and techniques and some new ideas and some not so new but all with a different twist.
today i want to share with you a project you can use as a card for someone or to display at home or office.
Always & Forever
my base for the card is a white textured cardstock i had in my stash and then a layer of a yellow -also textured- cardstock from the same stack. i cut the white at 5- 1/8th x 3-3/4, the yellow one 1/8 of an inch smaller and then the pretty red patterned paper from elle’s studio (love you more collection) at another 1/8th of an inch shorter and place them all to the right just showing the 1/8 of an inch border on the left, top and bottom sides (but not on the right).you ca see how they were aligned in the next pic.
on the above pic you can also see i added the ‘my favorite’ (yellow) journaling tag, the ‘always & forever’ one all the way to the right side and 1/3rd of a circle tag with the ‘you make me so very happy” sentiment showing and, stitched all layers together with a sewing machine.
at the end i added a banner and the circled heart to add some of that lovely color to my project.
here i am showing the ‘easel’ i added to the back of this card. i also like i can close the easel and put my project in an envelope and mail it to a loved one for them to display or add to any scrapbook page or album.
i can’t say enough of these ‘bits and pieces’ and ‘journaling tags’ and ‘labels: how much fun!
some supplies have been linked for your convenience.
thanks for stopping by!
